The purpose of the South Carolina Career Woman of the Year Program is to recognize a woman who has achieved outstanding success in her own career and has made significant contributions to civic and humanitarian or religious activities.

The purpose of the South Carolina Woman of Accomplishment program is to honor successful women who have distinguished themselves in their career; community services; outstanding role models for young women; and outstanding efforts on issues which are supported by BPWSC. This program encourages recruitment of women into BPW membership, promotes activities that involve the participation of women, and publicly recognizes achievements and efforts of women in our communities.

The BPWSC Legacy Award program is to recognize a current member of BPWSC who has made a significant contribution towards the advancement of women and the BPWSC mission of enhancing the lives of powerful working women professionally through advocacy, education, and information.

The Young Careerist Program encourages recruitment of young women into BPW membership, promotes activities that involve the participation of young people and publicly recognizes the achievements and efforts of young women in the workplace.
